the comments are better than the trailer. thought provoking. sure some handsome younger men are casually bonking while others are trying to fulfil that "monogamous nuclear family paradigm" i've heard men aren't built for monogamy i've heard that monogamy is monotonous. i don't know any more.i personally limit what I do (control!) but that's me others do what they do and are represented on screen as if that's THE identity i'm over the identity thing these days? we're too complex to be represented.

@DuskysodaReturns and why exactly should people with differing life goals have to "sustain a real intimate monogamous relationship", whatever that may mean? The monogamous nuclear family paradigm is as much a social construct as anything. I see no reason, other than religious and social conservatism, to consider this paradigm morally superior. In fact, i would argue that given the tribal prehistory of our species,? forced jealous possessive monogamy is what is unnatural, not the other way around.

Amazing to me how ...
Amazing to me how people can judge a movie they haven't seen. The movie isn't about abs and sex and pretty guys. It's about relationships (love relationships, family relationships and friendships). There are long term couples and single guys as well. It's a really wonderful film about trust and honesty? and what it means to make a commitment (not just within your relationship with your lover, but to your friends and family as well). It's also about how old pain and hurt can influence you.

The movie is about relationships (not sex). People are misjudging the film based on the trailer. Sex isn't the issue of the movie, neither is being gay. It's about friendship, commitment, honesty, the ways people build walls around themselves or hold each other back. So well done. Sex plays a small part in the film. Some parts are sexy, but the overall message of the film is about being true to yourself, trusting your instincts, being honest with friends and? lovers and sharing your life.
